Vila'ge - The Restaurant In A Village

Haha.. sound like u noe little britain

The only gay in the village... *bleahs*

Anyway.. my dad gave me some cash today...
But ya.. have no where to go..

No 1 to hang out with..

Saw aini online..

And she is free rotting at home till meeting her friend in the evening

so we decide to go for a little catching up session

she is one of my good sec sch friend =p

Never seen her for quite a long time liao..

And while we were like thinking of what to eat..

I told her i been craving for stingray like days..

haha..

And being it in around 4+ pm

we dunnoe where around us sells nice bbq samba stingray that early...

Thats when i found Vila'ge does have samba stingray =D~

And so we decided to go and i was like out from my bath and it was rainning cats, dogs and monkeys... (yes u read monkeys...)

So she and her friend cannot stick to the plans of going cycling in the evening and i ask her to invite her to have dinner together with us lor and can hang out too mah...

It turn out to be linn, met her afew times liaoz =p

Met aini at bedok mrt where she hop on the train..

and we kinda walk under the rain to heeren and ya..

we both can slip fall and die anytime with our super slippery shoes..

Anyway we started with...

While waiting for linn to come..

And the moment she came it grew to this...

The stingray was ok...

Mian hiam buay pai..

we finish it... super clean lar.. lolx

we were like trying to make our self finish the food haha..

That's when the potato salad make me feel like a potato =/

Well anyway.. we decided to pamper our self with a super sinful chocolate truffle cake..

Ya.. we 3 shared it=p

haha.. the tomato looks good on it eh...

And for the group photos

and than they both started to kill each other *help!~**hides under the table*

rite... dun worry they both are still alive and kicking..

And we when over to far east to get aini's zinc small bag haha...

went cine for a little while..

And home sweet home..

Anyway she got this moive pass and jio me to watch underdog tml..

P.s. boh chup is super cute, slping on his back with 4 paws up in the sky or flat on his tummy...

And he has been really eatting quite alot...

Been giving him more fresh vegi and fruits so he dun get too over weight and laze to much haha =p

And boh chup has a ganma who loves him alot which is heckle who scolds me becoz of him *bleahs*

Changed the 2 blown lightbulbs in my room, now it look super bright haha... I change it myself kz..=p
Went church..
Met with rong ping and sharon..
And decides to go bugis with rong ping and her 2 cg members while sharon goes to teach tution.
It's been super duper long since i go out with rong ping haha..

Than when to bk ate buddy meal, shop around and met amanda, lionel and tat and we bump into alberto.
And lionel and tat had 2 go off 1st..i think alberto has stuff on.
So me and amanda ended up at ps than marina sq and than suntec than bugis...
And we walk shop and tok..

Things i need to get or want 2 get...

1) sneakers (sai manz.. converse at bugis having sale la...wheres my payyyyy*or a sandals
before my only 1 sandals,go out footware fail me and make me fall 2 my death..
2) A nice belt
3) this hat haha..

4) Oliva cd
5) A few nice top and bottom ( b4 my pte ltd fail me)
6) I wanna go chen qi zhen concert..but no money and... no 1 go with me too..
Like i wanna go corrinne may's concert also no 1 to go with..*bleah*

Guess this are the few i can think of now... haha
and yup thats about all lor.. =p

Mooncake recipe =p

Ingredients for skin:

200 gm. koh fun (baked at 160 deg)
** Normally you should be able to get it already baked than you need not bake again**
230 gm. sifted icing sugar
75 gm. shortening
260 gm. cold water
A few drops of colouring of ur choice
*shine's add on : Get the phoon huat juice binders thingy..
Around 20 gm for this recipe it will make the dough smoother =p*

For filling

You can get prepacked filling like Lotus paste.
To enhance the taste you can add melon seed (Toast beforehand for a while becoz it will pop.)

1) Mix the ingredients for the skin together, Do not add the ice water all at a go.
(check for consistency before adding more water in)

2) knead in shortening. ensure it's in small pieces and knead in slowly, if not it will form lumps in the dough.

3) Add your fav colouring or flavouring. A few drops will do.

4) Knead till the colour are evenly spread out.

5) It's better to leave the dough aside to rest about 30 to 45 mins in cool dry place. I recomend clear wrapping it and put it in the fridge.

6) Coat the mooncake moulds with some koh fun, and knock out the excess. (oh, btw.. i prefer the plastic mould even though wooden mould would have better and nicer pattern. But you have to soak your wooden mould in corn or peanut oil for at least 3 days b4 you can use it, if not you mooncake will stick on the mould. And plastic use less strenght and ur table dun risk having a hole=p)

7) Divid the dough into portions depending on the size of your mould. ( normally you can use ur fillings as gauge)

8) Add the toasted melon seeds into your fillings

9) flatten your dough with ur hands or a rolling pin.

10) Put your fillings in the center of the dough, wrap it in and softly roll it into a ball.

11) Coat the ball with some koh fun.

12) place it into the mould and press until it's flat.

13) Knock out the shape mooncake from knocking the side of the mould. With one hand and another 1 can prepare to catch ur mooncake if it's flying...haha

14) Chilled your mooncake in a air tight container so they will not have the "smell" of the food in ur fridge.

15) And you can prepare to eat =D

It's killing my ear drums and make me have a headache and wake me up from my beauty slp..

Went cell todae..
everyone is super happy to see me haha..

Oh well..
And horr...
Decided to go airport with beng huat to pick kah leong my ganma =D
There is a delay in the flight..
And it's delay somemore.. so actually is 10:10 but delay est. 11+ but in the end end up she appeared around 12++
And so.. in the mean time, i and beng huat are toking.. and there is a no. of flights landed at the same time.. b4 i noe it..
I am seeing.. mani mani angmos.. Dashing angmos with tux and a simple black bag...
*awwww* haha... and they have the dashing "wise" look with their shave but unshave evenly grown facial hair....
So Shuai la....

Hahah... bleah!

Anyway after that we went to the hong kong cafe..
they paid again.. feel so bad...
When i work.. get my pay gonna treat them =D

The repair alone is 80 if i get the adapter is another 35 bucks..

For the past few weeks while my lappy is down..
I am camping at the desktop
While my bro slps early and get ready for work tml..

But he can tok in his slp suddenly at times even sing -.-
Sometimes i really tot he is toking to me..
Like for eg a few mins ago..
He is like.. dunnoe wat sit infornt of me.. than long pause...
than he goes Dora... and i look at him in the dark..
And he went oie..
And i dunnoe to reply anot.. which i did..
i went wat?!
And he dunnoe reply wat la.. in some alien languge...

I hate typing in the dark..=(

I hate being sick big time =/

Heckle suppose to come over today..

She could not come over..
But she is planning to come over like tml nite..

Today i slp so much that i can become a pig..
But heckle says i needed it..
so i can enough rest to get my body to get enough rest to recover..
Becoz i kinda lack alot of slp during my fmp resubmittion

My lappy is in the hospital...
A new 1.. not the twinhead service center..
pretty piss off with there service.. i send it to another 1..
Which i think it's gonna discharge soon =)

The cough is coming back.. think i will go back to slp..

I am offcially sick...

Coughing my lungs out.....
It's killing me...

Anyway IT fair it's over....
I think my commission is super low...*sigh*

I guess, it's a good exposure working at the comp fair..
Knowing nice people...
And having fun...

The 3rd day of comp fair was vivian bday...
And she invited us to go mos and celebrate..
never go to mos b4, they have a a counter for u to check in ur bags..
But it's freaking funny coz when we got there it's full...and u have to carry ur bag all around..
They should have lockers la...
The bar there, has reak pro bartenders.. so u can see good shows b4 u get ur drinks...
And
Woo.. now is non smoking area leh... at least dun go home stinko
But i was sure tired... i sat there most of the time..

The last day of comp fair was kaly bday..
We celebrated for her at the hk cafe... and had fun...
The whole hkcafe customers sing happy birthday together with us..
and kaly is so paisae and dunnoe where to hide...
She can't run becoz we got her traped in the middle lolx...
And sabo the bday gal, with cake on her face... lol
Luff so much...
Did not know laughing can be so tired...=p

Next up,
Need to do my portfolio and roam for a job...
Quite a no. of the things we do in fids are pretty useless cannot be added into portfolio.
So... i have to think of wat to do to put in my portfolio

And which also means i can go and demand my transcript at fids...

Life is pretty very much back on track for me...=)

Oh ya i got a hammie today heh...
